My specialty offering is black roses (and thorns, and buds, and hips) at a flat rate for flexible design and customizable options.
I began tattooing in 2012, and developed a style working with botanical motifs. Over time, roses have become a personal devotion, I have even created a tarot deck exploring the lore of the rose! I’ve been tattooing from my rose garden for over a decade in Portland, Oregon and all over the world. I work from life, and everything I make is an offering from my hometown, the City of Roses. Most of the tattoos you see here display roses I have grown in my home garden. Thank you for the opportunity to work together!
Below, you'll find a large selection of roses to draw inspiration from, and if I think the piece you describe will take multiple sessions I will let you know. A $250 deposit is required in advance to secure any appointment, is non-refundable, and will be applied to the final cost of your tattoo.
SESSION BREAKDOWN:
My flat fees reflect a base hourly rate of roughly 250/hr. An all-day session tends to wrap up anywhere between 5 and 7 hours. The flat rate gives us flexibility and time to consult, plan, and rest throughout the session without watching the clock. I've chosen this structure because most of the pieces people bring me as reference are sized to take about this long, this is the convergent outcome of my design style.
Designs are finalized in person when you arrive at the studio. There are opportunities to work together on placement and details, however I do need information before we secure our appointment date- always include images in your email.
